JOB DETAILS

Description:
Sell and market TOA products within a defined sales territory. Responsible for the establishment of key and strategic relationships with customers, focusing on the development and execution of business plans to identify the long term, mutual support requirements required to facilitate a strong, profitable and successful partnership with both potential and existing customers.

Specific Duties:

  • Manage multiple key accounts within a territory, including marketing and sales of Audio and Intercom products.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction and have overall accountability for business growth.
  • Manage short, mid and long term opportunities.
  • Identify market potential through lead generation and qualification.
  • Initiate sales process by scheduling appointments, making initial presentations, understanding account requirements.
  • Build rapport with potential and existing accounts by explaining products and service capabilities, overcoming objections, working with the client.

    • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Minimum 5 years of direct selling experience of Audio and Intercom Products.
  • Background in audio/visual products, pro audio, commercial audio, electronic security systems, or high tech electronics beneficial.
  • Exceptional communications, organizational, and interpersonal skills necessary.
  • Must be self-directed, self-motivated, and capable of working under limited supervision.
  • General business, selling, financial, and customer relations skills required.
  • Travel required. Includes regular visits to key customers in addition to road shows, trade shows and special meetings.

    Technical Support Specialist

    JOB DETAILS

    Description:
    The Technical Support Specialist provides Audio, Intercom and CCTV product support to our dealers, end-users, and sales team. System design and an electronics background would also be helpful.

    Duties include telephone technical support to dealers, consultants, end users, and others located nationwide related to the selection, operation and troubleshooting of TOA audio, intercom and CCTV products. The position also includes involvement with training, technical writing, market research, product development and tradeshows.

    The candidate should be able to demonstrate clear verbal and written communications skills using MS Office and Power Point and possess the ability to explain complex concepts in simple language. An Associate level college degree and/or equivalent work experience is required. Travel is estimated to be 15% of the time.

    Skills:
    The ideal candidate should have experience with the theory, installation and operation of audio equipment including mixers, 70-volt amplifiers, speakers, digital signal processors, equalizers, and/or intercom and/or CCTV systems.

    Language: English with fluency in French an asset.
